Dr Adelfo Hipolito

Dr Hipolito has all around interest with special interest in Dermatology, Skin checks, Minor Procedures, Diabetes and Indigenous Care. Also speaks Tagalog.

Dr Maryam Mirzazadeh

Graduated from medical school in 2006
Worked in Gynaecology and Obstetrician field for two years before starting GP training in Gap Road Medical Centre. Obtained FRACG in 2022.
Enjoys all aspects of General Practice, special interests include women’s health including antenatal care, children, chronic disease, skin, mental disease, and minor procedures.

Dr Alexandra Schultz

Graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2015. I then moved to Melbourne where I worked at St Vincent’s and Peter MacCallum for several years, primarily in surgical and critical care units. I left St Vincent’s to spend a year working in Rural Emergency Departments and then overseas in Guatemala and India whilst taking time to travel and learn about different cultural practices in medicine. After returning to Melbourne I started my GP training to further my experience in holistic medical practice and patient centred care. I enjoy all aspects in General Practice but have specific interests in women’s health, mental health, and chronic pain and palliative care. In my spare time (and pre-COVID lockdown) I enjoy hiking, surfing, camping and travelling when possible.

Enjoys all aspects of General Practice has experience in dealing with patients diverse backgrounds by providing care through comprehensive continuity and patient centred approach.

Dr Adrienne Heslop

Dr Adrienne Heslop graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2009.
Worked in a range of specialties at St Vincent’s and the Austin hospitals for 3 years before starting GP training in 2013.
Fellow of the RACGP since July 2016. Enjoys all aspects of General Practice. Special interests include women’s and children’s health including antenatal care, chronic disease management and mental health.

Dr Peter Bakhoum

General Practitioner
Dr Peter Bakhoum Graduated from medical school in 2012. He has worked in public Emergency Departments and joined our friendly team at Gap Road Medical Centre early in 2018. He works in our after hours program so he is available for evening & weekend appointments. He enjoys all aspects on general practice with particular interest Mental Health, Children’s Health and Skin Checks. He is fluent in English & Arabic. Dr Bakhoum is now offering appointments for Circumcisions for babies up to the age of 3 months.

Dr Mamdouh Melaik

Fellow with the RACGP Bachelor Medicine Dr Melaik’s interests include chronic disease. Dr Melaik consults on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Dr Jack Kain

Jack is a GP registrar who has worked at GP clinics in Newport and Fitzroy prior to Gap Road Medical Centre. Jack is originally from New Zealand and moved to Melbourne 9 years ago to study medicine at Melbourne University. He then spent four years working in Sunshine, Footscray and Williamstown Hospitals. Jack has a broad interest in GP from paediatrics to geriatrics, but has special interests in addiction medicine and chronic diseases like high blood pressure, diabetes, and heart or lung conditions. When Jack is not at work he likes the outdoors, in particular fishing in Port Phillip and Westernport bays – but hasn’t had much success!

Dr Alice Yu

Dr Alice Yu graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2020 and has trained for several years in Melbourne's north with special experience in women's health. She starts her GP training in Sunbury in 2023. Outside of work, her hobbies include reading, scuba diving and various crafty endeavours.

Dr Minsun (Michelle) Park

Dr Michelle (Minsun) Park obtained her Doctor of Medicine from University of Melbourne and completed her hospital training at Bendigo, with experience in a variety of rotations including Women's Health and Paediatrics. Dr. Mina, a distinguished General Practitioner with extensive experience since graduating from Medical School in 2013. She has experience from both General Practice and Hospital settings. She is interested in all different aspects of medicine including Women’s Health, Mirena IUD and Implanon insertion/removal, General Medicine, and Dermatology Dr. Mina's fluency in both English and Farsi enhances her ability to have an effective exchange of care and understanding for patients from different backgrounds.
